The professional requirement for sustainable hair care 

Our hair goes through a lot. Often, all at once. Heat, drying, pollution, coloring, repeated brushing… These daily aggressions simultaneously impact the scalp and the hair fiber. Without always realizing it, our habits also weaken the natural balance of the hair: sensitized or unbalanced scalp, roots that quickly become greasy, dry lengths, fragile ends, loss of shine.

It is this complex, rather than idealized, reality of hair that guided the creation of Maison Jearom care products.

A different approach to hair care

From the outset, our ambition was clear: to offer professional, natural, effective, and sustainable hair routines, without asking women to choose. Too often, hair care forces a compromise: performance at the expense of health, naturalness at the expense of results, sustainability at the expense of the pleasure of use.

At Maison Jearom, we refused this equation. Because for us, performance, health, pleasure, and sustainability are reconcilable issues, and should no longer be subject to compromise.

Solid formats & no superfluous water: our starting point

The choice of a solid format for our shampoos and conditioners, as well as a water-free serum, is not just a stance. It is a strong and deliberate choice, at the root of our approach. Solid is a format for the future and for ultra-performance, consistent with a demanding vision of care.

Because even before talking about naturalness or sustainability, we need to talk about real performance. Today, the majority of the hair care market relies on formulas largely composed of water. As a result, products contain an average of 5 to 7% active ingredients.

At Maison Jearom, we made a radically different choice.

• 40% active ingredients in our shampoos
• 81.5% in our conditioners
• up to 99.6% in our serums

This is more than 4 times the market concentration.

This level of requirement is no accident. It is made possible by a fundamental technical choice: no superfluous water. By eliminating unnecessary water, we concentrate on the essentials: active ingredients. We formulate denser, more effective, and more precise treatments.

Solid is therefore not an "alternative" or "committed" format. It is a superior format, serving professional performance. And that is precisely what is starting to make a difference in salons. Because once tested, these concentration levels do not leave anyone indifferent: hairdressers are often the first to be surprised, then won over.

No chemical camouflage

Too many hair care products still rely on an illusion of performance: shampoos with silicones to artificially smooth the fiber, aggressive sulfates to create lather at all costs, occlusive ingredients to give immediate but superficial shine. But beneath this smooth and shiny layer, the hair is not necessarily healthy, and the scalp is not rebalanced. The problem is camouflaged, not treated.

At Maison Jearom, our products are formulated without silicones, aggressive sulfates, parabens, or chemical ingredients. We act deeply and sustainably, respecting the scalp and hair fiber, for better, visible results.

The scalp: starting point for healthy hair

A fundamental principle also guides our formulation: we wash the scalp, not the lengths. The scalp is living skin. It is what reacts, gets irritated, becomes unbalanced. The lengths, on the other hand, are dead fibers: they do not need to be aggressively cleaned. An effective shampoo must therefore: gently cleanse the scalp, preserve its natural balance, and let the lather glide over the lengths during rinsing.

This is how we can cleanse without stripping, without causing chain reactions: oily roots, dry lengths, fragile ends.

The importance of an adapted pH (4.5 – 5.5)

To respect the scalp, pH is essential. Skin and hair naturally thrive in a slightly acidic environment, with a pH between 4.5 and 5.5. A shampoo formulated within this range allows for: preserving the scalp's skin barrier, closing the hair cuticles, limiting breakage and dehydration,
maintaining shine and softness.

At Maison Jearom, pH is not a technical detail: it is an essential condition for lasting effectiveness and professional quality. All our products are formulated with an adapted pH.

Multi-corrective, effective, and respectful formulas

Hair never experiences just one problem at a time. A scalp can be uncomfortable while producing too much sebum; lengths can be dry while lacking shine; colored hair can be fragile, dull, or over-stressed by heat.

Faced with these multiple needs, the classic response often involves multiplying products and steps: sprays, masks, mists, volume care, protection care, etc... At Maison Jearom, we made a different choice: to design ultra-concentrated, multi-corrective formulas. Capable of acting simultaneously to address the fundamental needs of the hair – shine, balance, nutrition, protection – with precision, without masking, without overloading, and without multiplying gestures.

We opted for formulas capable of acting simultaneously without multiplying corrective or overly targeted treatments.

Noble natural active ingredients for visible results

This multi-corrective approach is also based on a rigorous selection of noble natural active ingredients – preferably organic and French – chosen for their real effectiveness on hair. Among them: Abyssinian crambe, virgin plum oil, hazelnut oil, chamomile macerate, shea butter, argan oil, or jojoba oil.

Every ingredient has a precise function. Nothing superfluous. Nothing artificial. Only what is necessary to correct, strengthen, and sustainably preserve the hair fiber.

We apply the same scientific rigor to hair care as in skincare: precise formulas, rigorous development, measurable and measured effectiveness.
The objective is clear: to achieve uncompromising, even superior, performance.

Our care products were developed over two years of research and development, in collaboration with hair experts. They were then validated by a doctor of pharmacy, clinically tested under dermatological control, and proven in professional salons
