Solid conditioner: what it is for and how to use it
Conditioner is the hair care product most often forgotten, yet it makes the biggest difference to hair. In solid form, it becomes even more concentrated, more economical, and more ecological. Here's everything you need to know about solid conditioner.
Solid shampoo vs. solid conditioner: what's the difference?
Shampoo cleans the scalp and removes impurities. Conditioner, on the other hand, nourishes the hair fiber, closes hair cuticles, and facilitates detangling and styling. These are two complementary, not interchangeable, steps.
At Maison Jearom, both of our hair care products are designed to work synergistically in a natural hair care routine.
Why solid format for a conditioner?
- Ultra-concentrated: more nourishing active ingredients per application, up to 82.5% where traditional products do not exceed 9%
- No silicone: real nourishment, no artificial effect or dull hair fiber in the long term.
- Travel-friendly format: compact, lightweight, zero leaks
- Compatible with casing: can be stored in our rechargeable casing
How to apply a solid conditioner
- After shampooing, gently wring out your hair.
- Either rub the conditioner directly onto the lengths and ends, or massage it into your hands so that the cream is deposited there before running your hands through your lengths and ends.
- Gently massage to allow the product to penetrate.
- Leave on for 1 to 2 minutes (no need for more with a concentrated formula).
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Tip: for very dry hair, you can leave it on for 3 minutes, wrapping the ends.
Solid conditioner vs. mask vs. detangler
Solid conditioner: daily use or every wash, light to moderate nourishment.
Mask: intensive weekly treatment, long leave-in time (10-20 min).
Detangling spray: ease of styling, no deep nourishment.
Our Intense Nourishing Conditioner falls between classic conditioner and a mask: concentrated enough for deep nourishment, yet light enough for use with every wash.
